On the 4th of July Itasca County Republicans gathered to celebrate the opening of their new office at 814 NE 4th St in Grand Rapids.   Volunteers will staff the Freedom Center on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from noon to 4 pm. As the campaign season ramps up, it will be open more days.

Chair Ken Haubrich invites those interested in the local Republican activities to stop in and discuss issues. Supporters can pick up signs for the state House members who represent Itasca County and are up for re-election: Spencer Igo, Ben Davis, Matt Bliss and Roger Skraba.

 On the federal level, Republicans can show their support for Congressman Pete Stauber and get information on the candidate for US Senate, Royce White.

Visitors who come into the office have the opportunity to have their picture taken with a life sized figure of President Donald Trump.
